What we collect
- Creators: name, email, date of birth, identity verification results, campaign content, and payout details.
- Supporters: name (optional), email, and donation history.
- Surgeons: practice details, license and certification information, and payout details.
- Basic usage data, such as pages visited and device type.
What we don’t collect
Card numbers and bank details are handled by Stripe, our payment processor. Fundbags never stores them. Identity documents are checked by Stripe Identity.
How we use it
- To run campaigns, process donations, and pay surgeons and creators.
- To verify ages and identities and keep the platform safe.
- To send receipts, updates, and thank-yous you’ve asked for.
What’s public
A creator’s first name, story, approved photos, goal, and progress are public. Last names and locations are never shown. Supporters can choose to give anonymously.
Who we share it with
Only service providers who help us run Fundbags, such as Stripe for payments and verification, and hosting providers. The surgeon a creator chooses receives what they need to schedule her surgery. We don’t sell personal information.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information by emailing support@fund-bags.com. Some records, like payment history, must be kept for legal and tax reasons.
