Refund Policy

If the surgery doesn’t happen

If a campaign is cancelled, or the surgery is not scheduled within 12 months of the campaign reaching its goal, every supporter is refunded the full amount of their donation to the original payment method, including the Fundbags platform fee.

If a campaign is removed

If we remove a campaign for breaking our terms or content policy before its funds are paid out, supporters are refunded in full.

Changing your mind

You can request a refund of your donation within 7 days of giving, as long as the funds have not yet been paid to the surgeon. After funds are paid to the surgeon, donations cannot be refunded.

Tips

Optional tips to Fundbags are refunded whenever the donation they came with is refunded.

How to request a refund

Email support@fund-bags.com with the email address you used to donate and the campaign name. Refunds usually take 5 to 10 business days to appear, depending on your bank.
