Terms of Service
Last updated September 29, 2026
These terms apply to everyone who uses Fundbags (fund-bags.com), operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (“Fundbags,” “we”). By using the site you agree to them.
What Fundbags is
Fundbags is a for-profit crowdfunding platform where adult women (“creators”) raise money for elective cosmetic breast augmentation, and anyone (“supporters”) can make one-time donations to their campaigns. Fundbags is not a charity, and donations are not tax-deductible. Fundbags is not a medical provider, does not give medical advice, and does not recommend any surgeon as medically suitable for anyone.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Fundbags.
- Creators must verify their identity and age before a campaign can go live.
- Surgeons and surgical practices must hold a valid medical license and board certification, which we verify before they can receive funds or advertise.
How donations work
- Donations are voluntary gifts toward a stated surgical goal. Nothing is sold.
- A campaign’s goal equals a written quote from the creator’s chosen surgeon, up to the limit Fundbags sets for her state.
- Funds are held until the surgery is scheduled, then the surgery amount is paid directly to the surgical practice.
- If a campaign raises more than its goal, the extra is paid to the creator for recovery and related costs, up to the maximum shown on the campaign page. Once a campaign reaches that maximum it stops accepting donations.
- Fundbags keeps a platform fee of 8% of each donation. Card processing fees (currently 2.9% plus 30 cents per donation) are also deducted from each donation and paid to our payment processor. Both are shown at checkout. Supporters may add an optional tip to Fundbags.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Creators and surgeons receiving funds must also accept Stripe’s terms.
Thank-yous
After surgery, a creator may send her supporters a personal thank-you, such as a short video or a photo in standard swimwear. Thank-yous are optional, are the same for every supporter regardless of amount, and are not a product or service being purchased.
Refunds
See our Refund Policy.
Your responsibilities
- Creators must tell the truth in their story and campaign details.
- Everyone must follow our Content Policy. We may remove content, pause campaigns, or close accounts that break it.
- Creators are responsible for any taxes on funds paid to them. We recommend talking to a tax professional.
- Harassing creators, supporters, or surgeons is not allowed.
Surgeon advertising
Surgical practices may pay a flat fee to be featured on Fundbags. Featured placements are labeled as sponsored. Fees are not based on patients, referrals, or procedures, and creators may choose any licensed, board-certified surgeon.
Limits of our responsibility
Surgery carries real medical risk. The decision to have surgery, and the choice of surgeon, belong to the creator and her doctor. To the extent allowed by law, Fundbags is not liable for medical outcomes or for the acts of surgeons, creators, or supporters.
