For your surgeon's office: paying with Fundbags

Your patient is raising money for breast augmentation on Fundbags (fund-bags.com), a crowdfunding platform. Supporters donate through Stripe, and the surgery amount is paid directly to your practice. It costs your practice nothing.

How payment works

  1. Your patient’s campaign goal is your written quote, itemized: surgeon fee, surgery facility fee (including anesthesia), and implants or other charges.
  2. When the money is raised (or she covers the rest herself), you schedule her surgery.
  3. You confirm the date with us, and Fundbags sends the full quoted amount to your practice’s bank account through Stripe, before the surgery. Your practice pays the surgery center and anesthesia provider from that payment.

What we need before we can pay you

One-time setup, about 15 minutes, done online in your private surgeon portal:

If your practice would rather not take part, that’s fine: your patient can choose another surgeon and her funds move with her.
